The Komperda Research Group at San Diego State University studies the experiences of students in chemistry courses and degree programs at the college level. Our work primarily focuses the measurement instruments (e.g., tests, surveys, etc.) used to draw conclusions about learning, attitudes, and behaviors. We use quantitative statistical methods to examine issues related to measurement data quality and investigate the relationship between student experiences and outcomes.
